You will then learn the best way to administer oxygen in each of these cases using an oxygen unit. There is no diving during the course. This makes the course also suitable for people who are often around divers but do not have a diving license, such as family and friends, dive boat crews and lifeguards. You do not need to have taken a CPR or first aid course beforehand to take this course.

After completing these courses, you will be well prepared to provide first aid in diving accidents using oxygen, until the local emergency services can take over. It is clear that for a diver this is a very valuable addition to first aid training.
